If the thought of a winter bike ride is appealing, you’re invited to register for Mayor Greg Ballard’s 3rd annual Polar Bear Pedal ride scheduled January 4 at 10 a.m. 

The 10-mile recreational ride will begin and end at the Indianapolis City Market, winding through the Woodruff Place neighborhood and the Mass Ave Cultural District.  Nearly 1,000 riders participated last winter.  The ride is free, but registration is required.  More information is online at www.indy.gov/polarbearpedal.
