Retro Buses to Hit Indy Streets

IndyGo riders will soon be enjoying rides on bigger bendy buses being used along two popular routes.  Refurbished 60-foot articulated buses are the newest addition to IndyGo’s fleet thanks to a boost in funding.

Samantha Cross, IndyGo’s VP of Business Development, says the buses will be fished off with a retro-modern black and silver paint job. They will be used along Route 8, which runs along Washington Street and Route 39, which stretches between Meridian and 38th streets.  IndyGo will also rehab numerous electric buses with the help of a federal grant.
