WFYI

Sound Expeditions is an audio soundtrack of Indianapolis created by local arts enthusiast Michael Kaufmann. He asked a variety of musicians to interpret a part of the city, using original music and natural sound.

Curious Mix contributor and host of Cultural Manifesto Kyle Long introduces us to composer Rafiq Bhatia, a guitarist with Son Lux. He decided to look into the history of the word "Indian" and how it is and is not a part of the name of the city and state. His sound expedition is called "In Name."
