Covanta Unveils Recycling Plant Plans
Covanta is planning to build a $45 million facility on the Southside to sort recyclables. Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard calls it an opportunity for the city to improve its recycling. Right now only about 10 percent of residents participate, and Ballard thinks Covanta can increase that figure to 100 percent.

Mobile Graffiti Cleanup Unit Debuts
Indianapolis Department of Public Works is donating a vehicle to the Public Safety Foundation to clean up graffiti around the city. The mobile unit will be tested for the first time Saturday in the Garfield Park neighborhood.
