Indiana Republicans approved a party platform at their convention Saturday that defines marriage as between a man and a woman.

House Speaker Brian Bosma is the latest GOP leader who doesn't want to change the state party's platform that favors "marriage between a man and a woman."

The dispute centers on a phrase: "We believe that strong families, based on marriage between a man and a woman, are the foundation of society."
