The Indiana state auditor will be known as the state comptroller, beginning July 1, 2023.

Candidates for Indiana State Auditor in the 2022 election are incumbent Republican Tera Klutz, Democrat ZeNai Brooks and Libertarian John Schick.

Indiana Democrats have identified their slate of candidates for statewide elections this year. The state party will officially nominate those candidates Saturday.

Klutz will seek to win her second full term in next year’s election. She was first appointed state auditor by Gov. Eric Holcomb in 2017, replacing Suzanne Crouch, who had become lieutenant governor.
