Health Care for Farmers
January 16, 2020
A new legislative effort is underway to give more Hoosier farmers access to group health plans. As it works now, group plans are only available to entities with two or more employees. But most Indiana farmers work alone. The proposed change would give farmers another option, but some are worried this kind of plan doesn’t offer enough protection.
We break it all down with a group of guests including a local farmer, the president of the Indiana Farm Bureau, and a health policy expert.
