The Friday Pitch-In
November 06, 2020
Indiana Republicans had a successful election day, winning the gubernatorial and attorney general races, among others. Rumors began to spread that Gov. Eric Holcomb would reimpose COVID-19 restrictions after his win, but he says he isn't planning it. Today we get updates on these stories and more, plus an update on the pandemic in Indiana.
We also talk with a professor at Indiana State University about how Vigo County voted this election, after having its popular vote match with the winners of all but two presidential elections in the last 132 years.
Plus, a discussion on the state of manufacturing jobs in Indiana since 2016, when then president-elect Trump promised to revitalize the industry. And we learn more about education referendums that were on the ballot this year.
