City officials announce that Indianapolis infrastructure projects will receive more than 35 million dollars in federal funds. Indiana University joins two advocacy groups in suing the state over a new law that bans the use of student IDs for voting. All 18 environmental justice employees at the Environmental Protection Agency’s regional office receive layoff notices. The sudden decision to close Union School Corporation leaves families and officials blindsided.
