Sponsor Spotlight: IDO Incorporated

Sponsor Spotlight: IDO Incorporated

In this Sponsor Spotlight, we spoke with IDO Incoporated.

Tell us who you are, and a little about your organization.

Jill Mendoza, IDO Founder and Owner, along with Business Leaders, Amanda Medlen and Lee Boyland and our experienced design team represent the next generation of design excellence for this growing Commercial Interior Design Organization (IDO).

What role does your company play in the community?

For more than 30 years, IDO Incorporated has been transforming interior environments with creative and innovative design solutions. All that we do is achieved through the lens of IDO’s core belief in the power of interior environments.

This simple belief that well-designed spaces provide those they serve the power to heal, educate, discover, and sustain, makes all the difference.

Why does your organization support WFYI?

We truly believe WFYI serves to elevate the quality of life in our community by bringing valuable news, information, and entertainment that informs, educates, and opens doors to knowledge that we may not always think about opening. It helps us explore new and innovative ideas at local, state, national, and international levels.

Which is your favorite WFYI program, and why?

Most definitely it would be Freakonomics Radio. We also enjoy a variety of programs that broaden our perspectives in addition to engaging and challenging us to think differently.  TED Radio Hour, Moth Radio, The Splendid Table, Fresh Air, and All Things Considered, to name a few…

To quote from Adam Grant’s book, Think Again, where he notes: “If knowledge is power, knowing what we don’t know is wisdom.”  WFYI/NPR is a source of knowledge and wisdom for our IDO Team.
