Statement on Sesame Street's Contract with HBO

WFYI is proud to offer PBS KIDS programming, featuring more than a dozen impactful children’s shows, including Sesame Street. As a public media station, WFYI provides free, universally accessible programming, focused on life-long learning.

Since first signing on-air nearly 45 years ago, WFYI has brought Sesame Street to families in our community, through a partnership between PBS and the Sesame Workshop organization. We’re excited that Sesame Street continues in our line-up of PBS KIDS programs, along with other highly rated shows, such as Curious George, Daniel Tiger, Wild Kratts, Dinosaur Train, and Peg + Cat.
