Covering Kids and Families, or CKF, celebrated its goal to cover all 92 Indiana counties. Hundreds of partners gathered in Indianapolis at a recent annual meeting.

The health care advocacy group builds partnerships to provide resources that connect Hoosiers health insurance.

Keynote speaker and best selling author, Dr. Sampson Davis spoke at the event and says health care issues like access and affordability have to be addressed.

"It’s all hands on deck, so the organization CKF of Indiana is extremely important in that component of it," says Davis. "Are they the only answer? No. No organization is."

In the past year CKF has increased outreach by more than 70 percent and trained 227 health navigators.

The organization also filed nearly 26,000 health insurance applications for Hoosiers.
