One person has been arrested and charged after the release of videos showing animals being abused at Fair Oaks Farm.

Edgar Gardonzo-Vasquez, 36, faces a felony charge of torturing or mutilating animals and a misdemeanor charge of animal cruelty.  Immigration officials have also placed a hold on Gardozo-Vasquez from Brook, Indiana, in Newton County.

There are warrants out for two other employees shown hurting animals in the videos made secretly by the group Animal Recovery Mission.

Also this week, a lawsuit was filed by a California man accusing Fairlife, the company that distributes milk from Fair Oaks Farm, of fraud.
