Robert Fry is one of two recently hired Community Resource Coordinators, also known as "peacemakers." He will serve in Indianapolis' most challenged communities to connect residents with resources.

U.S. Environmental Protection Agency finished removing lead-contaminated soil from 101 properties at the American Lead site in the Martindale-Brightwood neighborhood of Indianapolis.

This is the second go-round for major lead clean up in Martindale-Brightwood.

The Environmental Protection Agency says it will begin removing lead-tainted soil later this month from as many as 100 homes around the site of an old industrial smelter in the Martindale-Brightwood neighborhood.
