Indy Parks Director To Step Down

Indy Parks Director Linda Broadfoot will leave her leadership role next month.  Broadfoot has been director since 2016.  During that time she helped increase funding for the department and oversaw upgrades to greenspaces and facilities. 

Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett made the announcement in a written statement. 

“Linda Broadfoot has been an incredible asset to the City of Indianapolis, enhancing quality of life throughout our neighborhoods and championing equity in the public spaces and services available to residents,” Hogsett said.

No reason for her depature was announced. Current CFO Angie Clark will serve as interim director. Indy Parks operates 212 parks.
